Monique M. Maxwell (She, Her, Hers)  was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens. She received her Bachelor’s from SUNY Buffalo State in 2018. As an undergrad, she served as a Resident Assistant, peer mentor, and event coordinator for the student body. She also worked for Let’s Get Ready as a Student Success Coach, assisting first-generation students with their transition into college. She was CEO/President during her senior year, serving as an advocate for student concerns for the USGSG, Inc., a 501(c)(3) student-run organization. After undergrad, she worked for St. John’s University as the Summer Housing Coordinator, managing a staff of 15 in preparation for local and international conference guests. Before joining BxD, she worked as a Development Assistant for St. John’s University School of Law.
